HCC Spring Branch Big Bands to perform with guest artist, Rich Iacona

The award-winning big bands of NW College's Spring Branch campus, under the direction of Dr. Woody Witt, will perform with renowned pianist, composer and educator, Mr. Rich Iacona. Mr. Iacona is Professor of Music Thoery and Piano Studies at Long Island University (NY), as well as an active writer and performer. His compositions are heard throughout the world on both radio and television, and his music is being used by sponsors such as Sears, Lever Bros., Acura Motors, Foxwood Casinos, Folgers Coffee, World Book, the USA cable network, the History Channel, Bloomingdales, Saturday Night Live, Verizon, L.I. Wineries, the Maury Povich Show, the Jon Stewart Show and "Travel Travel." He has composed the television theme song for the Telemundo network hit "12 Corazones". He has appeared and performed in several motion pictures such as "Mighty Aphrodite", "It Could Happen To You", and Woody Allen's "Celebrity."
