Former Students

A former student is any student who has previously been admitted to HCC but has not attended classes within the last two consecutive semesters.

After Absence

Students who have not enrolled for two or more consecutive regular semesters (fall, spring) must complete an affirmation of residence form and satisfy all applicable requirements for residency again prior to registration. After submission of this form, a student's file will be reactivated and he/she can then register online.

After Suspension/Academic Withdrawal

Students seeking readmission after being placed on enforced Academic Withdrawal or Suspension at HCC must petition the appropriate academic or workforce dean at the college they attend. Students may be required to enroll in courses specified by the dean and/or have their course load limited.
