A+ Certification - ITSC 2040

Emphasis on microcomputers and required software components.  Topics include site preparation; installation procedures; components; power supplies; modems; printers; switches; operating, helping, and security systems; packaged programs; utilities; languages; and operating procedures.

Network+ Certification - CPMT 1049

A beginning course in computer networks with focus in networking fundamentals, terminology, hardware, software, and nework architecture.  A study of local/wide area networking concepts and networking installations and operations.

Topics covered:

  • Network media and topologies.
  • Network protocols and standards.
  • Network implementation and support.

Server+ Certification - CPMT 1091

This is an introduction in basic server hardware skills, which include the configuration, setup, installation, testing, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.

  • Server installation, configuring, and upgrading.
  • Server proactive maintenance.
  • Environment
  • Troubleshooting and problem determination
  • Disaster recovery

Security+ Certification - CPMT 1091

This introduction in basic computer and network security skills includes the development of a comprehensive approach to information security, embracing both the human and technical dimensions.  The industry is in agreement that there is a need to better train, staff, and improve those tasked with information security
