HCC Northwest awards high achieving students

HOUSTON, TX (June 23, 2008) – HCC Northwest held their student awards event on June 16 at the Marriott Westchase. Attendees waited anxiously for the winners in each department to be announced. Recognition goes to Troy Jefferson, Northwest Student Life Coordinator, student ambassadors, and the student government association for making the event a reality.

Student athletes were also recognized at the Student Athletic Awards on Friday, June 20 at Minute Maid Park. The park provided a spectacular backdrop for the program as attendees enjoyed dinner and awards presentation. Awards were presented to athletes who contributed to the overall success of the student athletics program.
