Judging complete for the HCC Business Plan Competition

Judging for the first business plan competition at Houston Community College
took place at the Town & Country Campus this week. The winners will be
announced and will receive their prize money at a reception on April 28 .
Newspring and Houston Community College gave students the opportunity to
start their own business in the Spring Branch area by entering the competition. The student teams worked with two business leaders who served as advisors and attended training sessions covering the basics of
business plans, financial indicators and statements, obtaining capital and
other relevant topics.
