Spring and Winter Mini Registration Now Open | Classes Available December 2022 - April 2023

SPRING REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Spring 2023 registration is open and offers flexible courses, multiple start dates, and financial aid. As we wrap out the Fall semester, we want to encourage you to secure the Spring course schedule perfect for your program plan, work schedule, and other responsibilities.

Choose Your Start Date and Course Length

HCC offers multiple Spring sessions, as well as a winter mini-session that takes place immediately after the Fall semester ends. The Spring course schedule has in-person and online courses with start dates from December 2022 - April 2023. Please view the Spring sessions below and click here to view the next available start date for courses.

• Winter Mini 4-WK (4-week courses)
• Regular 16-WK (16-week courses)
• 2nd Start (12-week courses)
• 1st 8-WK (eight-week courses)
• 2nd 8-WK(eight-week courses)
• 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th 4-WK (4-week courses)

Flexible Course Options

When you search for courses, you will be able to choose any of the following instructional modes.

1. Online Anytime | Flexible, traditional online course without scheduled lectures, so you have the flexibility to complete coursework at the times that work best for you.
2. Online on a Schedule | Flexible online course with virtual lectures at scheduled dates and times.
3. Hybrid Lab | Lab class that meets face-to-face on-campus and virtually.
4. Hybrid Course | Lecture class that meets face-to-face on-campus and virtually.
5. In-person Class | Face-to-face courses with the traditional in-person format.

OPTIONS TO COVER COSTS

With one of the lowest tuitions in Houston, HCC is an affordable option to reach your educational goals. Financial Aid and installment payment plans are available to help you cover costs. 

• Financial Aid: Students who have a 22-23 financial aid application on file with HCC and are eligible to receive financial aid will receive an email notification about their award, and the next steps.
  
  
• Payment Plans: Installment Payment Plans are available for qualifying part-time and full-time students. In order to sign up for a payment plan, you must pay a $30 sign-up fee and a percentage of your total bill as a down payment. After signing up for a payment plan, students are required to make regular installment payments throughout the semester. • Deadline to Have Payment on File: In order to prevent courses from dropping for non-payment, students must meet the deadlines below to have a payment plan or a financial aid award that covers the total cost of the bill.
  • The payment deadline for Winter Mini classes is December 2, 2022 by 10 pm.
  • The payment deadline for Spring classes beginning January - April is January 3, 2023 by 10 pm. 
    • If you miss the deadline, you will be dropped from classes and must re-register.
    • If you register for a class after the payment deadline, payment is due at the time of enrollment.
