Welcome to the Houston Community College 2022 State of the College.
The theme of our event this year is “Resiliency By Design: A Bold Response To Houston's Future.” Our event theme embodies our dedication and commitment to our students, community and Houston’s future. We are proud that we have been educating and training Houstonians to meet the workforce demands in the region.
These past few years, Houstonians have stayed strong and weathered through these unprecedented times from hurricanes, winter freeze to COVID-19 pandemic while still continuing to adapt through the "new normal" transition. The power of collaboration can be seen in our stellar results in meeting these challenges. It has revealed the innate resiliency of every persons and epitomized Houston as a resilient community.
In response, HCC had the immense opportunity and responsibility to rethink the way our college functions. To embrace the future for Houston, HCC has continued to evolve its approach through technology and personalized learning to meet the demands of our diverse community.
