The mission of Community Family Centers is to equip families with the tools they need to become self-sufficient members of the community.
For more than 40 years, Community Family Centers/Centros Familiares de la Comunidad (CFC) has served low-income families within Houston’s Greater East End. It is a multi-service non-profit organization that offers a wide range of bilingual services to help families address their basic needs as they move toward self-sufficiency and economic independence.

Community Family Centers is a member of the Houston Literacy Consortium led by Houston Community College .
Adult Education classes at Community Family Centers including English as-a-Second Language are supported financially through grant funding from the Gulf Coast Workforce Development Board and are part of the Workforce Solutions system.
