The West Houston Institute's IDEAStudio combines state of the art facilities with incredibly talented staff to provide our college and our community with diverse experiences that support creativity and innovation for all. We provide all HCC students, faculty, and staff with free access to software, hardware, and tools to develop their ideas and courses and training to learn the skills necessary to bring them to life. We also work closely with our community–from individual inventors, to teachers and schools, non-profits and businesses.

Location & Hours

IDEAStudio is located on the first floor of the West Houston Institute in the West Hall of the building. See Visit the West Houston Institute for directions to the campus and parking. Our hours for Summer 2022 are as follow:

Monday–Thursday: 10am-6pm

Friday: 10am-5pm
