Houston City College (HCC) today unveiled a bold new logo and brand identity during its Fall Convocation, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for one of the nation’s largest community colleges.
The reveal came after months of planning and collaboration, with the new look designed to capture the spirit, values and vision of the institution as it prepares for the future.
“This is more than a fresh design — it’s a reflection of who we are and where we’re headed,” said Chancellor Margaret Ford Fisher, Ed.D. “Our nearly 100,000 students, faculty and staff share in the excitement of this moment, because it symbolizes growth, unity and the promise of the journey ahead for HCC.”
Several hundred faculty, staff and students gathered at NRG Center to celebrate the announcement, which was met with cheers and a sense of pride across the college community. Leaders described the unveiling as a historic milestone that will strengthen HCC’s identity and visibility both locally and nationally
The updated brand will also extend into the digital realm, with the new logo officially launching on the college’s website today. College officials said this step is the beginning of a broader campaign to align all communications, materials and signage with the refreshed identity.
