HCC and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce will sign an agreement solidifying a workforce training partnership at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, at the HCC Missouri City campus.

Reconnect, rekindle relationships, and reignite your professional network at our HCC Alumni Association Spring Networking Social on Tuesday, April 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the HCC West Houston Institute.

The HCC Alumni Association’s inaugural event in the Classroom to Career Success Series, Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the 21st Century, was a tremendous success on February 19. More than 60 eager students connected with exceptional entrepreneurs who once sat in the same HCC classrooms as alumni.

Leading up to the Fashion Fusion competition, hosted by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Kuteka Hill designed her garment entry with the sole intent of winning the Sustainability & Unconventional category. At the end of the show, the Houston Community College Fashion Design student captured first place for that category and to her surprise – Best of Show.

Houston Community College’s recent annual Faculty Career Fair, held at the HCC Southwest College’s West Loop Campus, was a hit. The event, a joint effort between Instructional Services and Talent Engagement, drew more than 500 job seekers to the campus and they were greeted there by more than 100 HCC department/program faculty and staff members, who represented 96 areas of study.
