HCC's Education Programs offer students the chance to develop careers in Child Development, English as a Second Language (ESL), Teacher Education and Physical Education, all designed to provide the educational foundation needed to become successful, college-level students.

Child Development

Learn the principles of normal child growth and development from birth through age 5.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Prepare for credit English courses with this developmental program.

Teacher Education

The Associate of Arts in Teaching is a state-approved collegiate degree program consisting of lower-division courses intended for transfer to baccalaureate programs that lead to initial Texas teacher certification.

Physical Education

Obtain instruction for fitness through good health practices and exercise.
