Sexual Assault Policy for Students
HCC Sexual Assault Policy for Students
Houston City College is committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. The Sexual Assault Policy explains what constitutes sexual assault and other forms of sexual misconduct, how to report an incident, and what support and resources are available to those affected.
The policy also outlines students’ rights, the investigation process, and HCC’s responsibilities under Title IX and state law to prevent and respond to sexual violence.
The official policy is maintained as part of the HCC Board Policy Manual, which is hosted externally by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB).
