Take Advantage of Online Learning combined with group events, one-on-one advising, competitions and more at the Center for Entrepreneurship – Connect with other entrepreneurs and a host of small business experts and resource partners through workshops, seminars and boot camps, one-hour advising appointments with a small business mentor, competitions to refine and polish your written plan and verbal presentation skills. The Center for Entrepreneurship is designed for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs as a focal point, providing practical learning, peer-to-peer and group training, one-on-one business advising and connections to entrepreneurial resources and resource partners in Houston who can help start and grow businesses.

Houston Community College offers entrepreneurship classes for those who seek to develop a business idea into a new business of their own and for those who want to expand their existing business. Our entrepreneurship students often have a skill or passion they want to turn into a livelihood and they seek the knowledge to lead them down that path. Our program features classes focused on just that.

Take some individual classes or earn one of our featured certificates specializing in entrepreneurship, or international business. You can also earn a two-year AAS degrees in business, marketing or international business. For some certificates, there are prerequisite courses that will be required for some students. Those interested can also can take just one class or more depending upon individual needs. Subjects include Introduction to Business, Accounting, Marketing, Business Law, Cooperative Education, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Small Business Management and much more.

$207.60 for in-district, $408.60 out-of-district and $458.10 out-of-state

Complete Steps 1-4 to enroll and pay for your class.
Complete Step 5 to prepare for the start of your class.
In steps 1-5 the system will prompt you to fill out the application. Upon successful completion of the application, the system will create a student number for you and prompt you to print it out. A button will also be provided to print your acceptance letter. And instructions will be given for you to complete the application process. Next steps may include all or part of the following: New Meningitis Vaccination, Assessment, Pre-Enrollment Session, Advising, Orientation, Communication and Registration On-Line for Class Sessions.
